Kids and Their Toys
Shot over a period of 18 months, Italian photographer Gabriele Galimberti’s project Toy Stories compiles photos of children from around the world with their prized possesions—their toys.
It’s incredible how one simple idea can encompass social stereotypes and also break others.
Seriously Asian parents? ALL educational toys?

As celebration for my 500th post, I’m releasing this panorama I’ve taken at the Black Beach in San Diego (the beach from my previous photoset) as a full res file you can download, print, and post on your wall or whatever!
There are no watermarks, no signatures or whatever! All I wish is for you to credit this photo to me whenever you share, please don’t be an image leech!
The filesize is huge, approx. 15000x3000 pixels and around 50MB, so be warned, make sure your computer can handle it :P

Hmmm…free…
The state of the “blizzard”, NYC February 2013.
I spent nearly 4 hours walking around (made it all the way to time square and back) outside in the cold with my camera documenting the various happenings of the city during the peak of the storm, from around 11PM - 3AM. Here are the results.
Wasn’t really a full blizzard, some areas got hit a lot harder, but NYC seemed to get the best balance of drama and beauty.
I love this city…
I can’t say that I love NYC, but this is awesome.
Just shamelessly reblogging myself don’t mind me.

More Tilt/Shift adventures throughout the cliff beaches of San Diego.
The Beaches of San Diego in Tilt Shift
So I decided to rent a tilt shift lens for my trip to California because I wanted to see what all the hype is about….
Well, here are the results from day one. Never ever used it before other than fiddling with it at the airport for an hour.
Yee.

A piece I had to do for a class final. It’s a composite of over 100 images of the Empire State Building, all collected from various personal blogs, tumblr blogs, travel sites, and image depositories. None of the photos in this collage is my own.
I basically told my professor that it’s a commentary on the oversaturation of media and how crowd-sourcing may be the future for everything.
But tbh I think it just looks cool because I thought it up at 3AM this morning and finished within three hours of it being due. HA.
